On your company's switch date, GLP-1 medications are covered through the Metabolic Reset program instead of the retail pharmacy. You enroll once, and your medication plus a full care team becomes available at no cost to you. If you don't use these medications, nothing about your benefits changes.

No. Your Amaze physician coordinates this part of your care and can share records with your existing doctors. Think of them as an added quarterback for your care, available 24/7, not a replacement.
Enroll when your welcome email lands and no. Complete a short onboarding with your doctor and your first shipment is scheduled to arrive before the switch date. On a stable dose, your prescription is usually issued right after onboarding, and the AlignWell team tracks every enrolling member so nobody misses a dose. The one way to put your refills at risk is to ignore the enrollment messages until after the switch date.
You'll receive medication in the same GLP-1 class you take today, prescribed by your doctor after they review your current therapy and dose. Depending on your employer's plan election, it's supplied as the brand product or prepared by a licensed, regulated U.S. pharmacy. Your doctor talks it through with you at onboarding.
After the switch date, GLP-1 prescriptions filled at a retail pharmacy will no longer be covered by the plan. The pharmacy screen will point you to the program phone number and the team will get you enrolled and covered. You won't be left without a path, but enrolling early is the only way to guarantee no interruption.
No. Your medical information is protected by federal privacy law (HIPAA). Your employer never sees who is enrolled, what anyone takes, or any health details. Ever.
Covered spouses and dependents who use a GLP-1 enroll the same way, and you can add your spouse and children under 26 right in the app. For members under 18, a parent or guardian completes a consent form as part of enrollment.
Your doctor places the order and you get a text and an email with instructions. Everything is prepaid: no insurance card needed, just bring your photo ID to the lab. Drink plenty of water, and fast beforehand only if your doctor tells you to.
